boasts two Championship Golf Courses, one of which hosted
the 1999 Walker Cup and will host the Curtis Cup in 2012.
It is ideally situated for both summer and winter
holidays with wide sandy beaches, pleasant riverside
walks and boat trips to see the famous Moray Firth bottle
nose dolphins. The Cairgorm ski area is just 30 miles
south and some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland
only 20 miles to the west, making Nairn an ideal centre
for exploring the Highlands of Scotland at any time of
the year. Enjoy the Whiskey Trail or visit ancient
castles and battlefields all within easy reach from
Nairn.
